The Hyundai Venue is the compact SUV that feels more expensive than its rental price suggests. For renters who want a higher seating position than a hatchback but don't need the bulk of a full SUV, the Venue lands in the right spot — easy to park, comfortable in city traffic, and well-equipped enough that you don't feel like you've made a downgrade from your own car back home.

Power comes from Hyundai's 1.2-litre Kappa petrol with 83 hp — adequate for city use and undemanding highway runs. It's not quick, but the 5-speed manual is light, the clutch is car-school-easy, and fuel economy sits around 16–18 km/L in mixed driving. Real-world enough for a 3-day trip on one tank.

What sets the Venue apart at this price is the equipment. 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and CarPlay, projector headlamps, LED DRLs, climate AC with rear vents, rear-view camera with parking sensors, and a reasonably premium cabin feel with soft-touch elements on the dashboard.
